Attending the event was Zhang Guohua, Secretary of the Party Working Committee, Director of the Management Committee of Xiong'An New Area, and member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee.
Academician Zhu Luhua of the Chinese Academy of Sciences delivered a speech on-site, while academician Shen Changxiang of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Wu Hequan of the Chinese Academy of Engineering delivered speeches online. A speech was delivered by Tian Jinchang, executive deputy director of the Management Committee, secretary of the Party Committee, and chairman of Xiongan Group. He was also the deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xiongan New District. Yu Guoyi, deputy director of the Management Committee and member of the Party Working Committee, provided an overview of Xiongan New Area's policy system, innovation ecology, and construction.
The development of information technology, according to Zhu Luhua, should adhere to functional, security, and confrontation principles. Xiong'An New Area should prioritise the concurrent development of cybersecurity technology and information security technology during the initial phase of digital city construction. This will enable the region to establish a stronger foundation for the information technology sector and make a valuable contribution to the overall construction and progress of Xiong'An Digital City.
Wu Hequan stated that Xiongan New Area is actively engaged in the deployment of software and information technology service sectors in order to construct a high-tech metropolis. It commenced with a strong foundation and achieved a favourable start. Yu Guoyi stated that the new district aims to establish seven major innovation ecosystems—satellite Internet ecological chain, Beidou ecological chain, intelligent network ecological chain, and IPv6 ecological chain—and provide business service centres and science and technology innovation centers—while ten platform carriers convene to advance the software and information technology service industries.
The ceremonial launch of the Xiongan New District City Harmony Ecosystem took place during the results release session. During the White Paper Launch Ceremony and Xiongan Independent Innovation Adaptation Centre Unveiling, the Xiongan New District Data Trading Company and Tower Zhilian Hebei Co., Ltd. were introduced. The criteria for application scenarios involving digital city innovation have been made public.
