Logistics and Trade Parallel Forum | Shanghai Cooperation Organization Industrial Chain Supply Chain Forum Bamboocloud Co-released a White Paper and Gave a Keynote Address
The SCO Pearl International Expo Center in Qingdao hosted the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Industrial Chain Supply Chain Forum and the 2023 SCO International Investment and Trade Expo on June 15. Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy Representative for Negotiations on International Trade, Ling Ji, Secretary-General of the Provincial Government and Vice Governor of Shandong Province, Song Junji, witnessed the opening ceremony and delivered the keynote address. Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Yermekbayev delivered a speech, and in attendance were Mayor Zhao Haozhi and Deputy Secretary-General of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee. The opening ceremony was officiated over by Zhang Xinzhu, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the SCO Demonstration Zone and a member of the Standing Committee of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee.
Ling Ji highlighted that the organization of the 2023 SCO International Investment and Trade Expo and the convening of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Industrial Chain Supply Chain Forum are tangible actions taken to embody the principles espoused by the significant initiative of SCO Samarkand Summit, which was presided over by President Xi Jinping. The individual suggested that China is prepared to collaborate with all relevant entities in order to advance the docking of economic development strategies, bolster the durability of regional supply chains and industries, and advance economic globalization in a manner that is more balanced, inclusive, universally advantageous, open, inclusive, and win-win.
Song Junji underscored the significance that Shandong places on pragmatic collaboration with SCO nations, constructing high-level SCO demonstration zones, and attaining favorable outcomes in various domains including logistics trade, industrial investment, amicable exchanges, and more. Our objective is to enhance collaboration with SCO nations in various areas, including logistics channel development, scientific and technological innovation cooperation, trade exchange expansion, and industrial chain supply chain promotion. To achieve this, we intend to maximize the utilization of Qingdao International Energy Trading Center and other relevant platforms, facilitate the execution of numerous cooperation projects, and advance industrial supply chains, among other initiatives. The strengthening and consolidation of cooperation in critical domains has advanced the construction of a more intimate SCO community with a common future.
A stable and efficient industrial and supply chain, according to Yemekbayev, is vital for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization region and the entire globe. Particularly crucial for establishing a stable and sustainable supply chain and bolstering enterprise and business association cooperation among SCO nations is the integration of entrepreneurial initiatives with specific business projects. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Industrial Chain Supply Chain Forum, the 2023 SCO International Investment and Trade Expo, and a number of industry sub-forums were all held in Qingdao against this backdrop. Attending the event were representatives from the business community and industry. We hold the belief that the moment has come precisely at this juncture.
The Shandong Provincial Government and the Ministry of Commerce are co-hosting this forum under the theme "Collaborative and win-win links connecting regional economic cooperation for a brighter future." Its objective is to promote the development of a mutually beneficial and win-win industrial supply chain system that is secure, stable, streamlined, efficient, open, and inclusive, while also establishing a new foundation for pragmatic cooperation among SCO nations. The forum encompasses various activities, including the main forum, the 2023 SCO International Investment and Trade Expo, and six parallel forums. Conducting a keynote address at the "Shanghai Cooperation Organization Industrial Chain Supply Chain Forum Logistics and Trade Parallel Forum" on June 16, Dong Ning, Chairman of Bamboocloud, was extended an invitation to participate. He titled his address "Castle on the Cloud" and emphasized the potential of the Digital Innovation Endowment to foster multilateral economic and trade development.
Bamboocloud collaborated with several organizations and institutions at the forum, including Kenting (Guangzhou) Law Firm, China Software Evaluation Center, Tsinghua University Technology Innovation Research Center, Zhejiang University Cyberspace Security College, Hangzhou International Digital Trading Center, and China Telecom Research Institute. The Guangzhou Standardiz jointly authored the "Shanghai Cooperation Organization White Paper on the Circulation of Data Elements in the Economic and Trade Logistics Industry." In its entirety, the "White Paper on the Circulation of Data Elements in the Economic and Trade Logistics Industry of the SCO" incorporates the central government's "Twenty Data Points" into its content, examines the development of the SCO data infrastructure system, and consolidates the SCO consensus on digital economic cooperation. The white paper addresses data security governance, cross-border circulation oversight of data elements, data property rights, and the development of data transaction and circulation systems. As the first international cooperation organization in the industry, it assumes the lead in exercising the asset allocation of economic and trade logistics data elements in an innovative manner in the SCO Demonstration Zone.
