The third "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum was successfully conducted in Beijing on October 18. The "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum is a significant and extensive diplomatic event sponsored and hosted by China, which holds the highest degree of importance and involves the participation of several countries. It serves as a significant global collaboration platform for all participants to engage in discussions, collaboratively establish the "Belt and Road" initiative, and exchange the outcomes of mutually advantageous cooperation.

Dong Ning, the Chairwoman of Bamboocloud, received an invitation to take part in the high-level forum on the digital economy at this summit. The National Development and Reform Commission and the National Data Administration organised a high-level meeting that centred around the topic of "Developing the Digital Economy and Harnessing New Sources of Economic Growth." The event was jointly organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Internet Information Office, and Xinhua News Agency. The meeting was attended by officials from key departments and over 500 participants from roughly 40 countries, both Chinese and international.

Cai Qi, secretary of the CPC Central Committee's Secretariat and a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau, stated in his address that President Xi Jinping proposed the collaborative construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative in the autumn of ten years ago. President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote address at the summit forum's opening ceremony on October 18. In it, he provided a comprehensive review of the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" over the past decade, anticipated and planned the future development direction of the high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road," advocated for the strengthening of the partnership pertaining to the joint construction of the "Belt and Road," and unveiled eight significant initiatives. China is committed to advancing the cause of peaceful development, advocating for a comprehensive and functional digital Silk Road, and endeavouring to transform the "Belt and Road" into a digital highway and a path of peace. China intends to collaborate with other nations globally in order to expedite the establishment of a cyberspace community that shares a common future and facilitates the growth of the digital economy. The outcomes will enhance the well-being of individuals across all nations and make a valuable and robust contribution to global peace, progress, and the advancement of human civilization.

The forum was attended and addressed by foreign leaders, including Skreikas, a member of the Federal Supreme Council, a Special Representative, the Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Qasimi, a Senior Representative of the Greek Prime Minister, and a Minister of Development. Discussions were held in-depth between Chinese and foreign guests regarding the "status and policies of digital economy development," "the outcomes of digital economic cooperation under the 'Belt and Road' initiative," and "the dividends of digital development and the strengthening of international cooperation in the digital economy."


During the forum, the "One Belt, One Road" Digital Economy "Beijing Initiative for International Cooperation" was jointly released by China and Myanmar, Gambia, Cambodia, Laos, Cuba, Comoros, Kenya, Thailand, Palestine, Argentina, Ethiopia, Malaysia, Sao Tome and Principe, and other nations. The initiative put forth twenty consensuses aimed at advancing international collaboration in the digital economy across various domains, including infrastructure, industrial transformation, digital capabilities, and cooperative initiatives. Simultaneously, the forum unveiled the "White Paper on Digitalization of Shipping Trade and "Belt and Road" Cooperation and Innovation" and the "Case Study Collection of Digital "Smart" Development Road." It also conducted a corporate cooperation text exchange ceremony, encompassing smart travel, digital cultural tourism, digital trade, and other related domains. The objective was to foster a broader consensus on international collaboration in the digital economy and to extend the scope of digital economic cooperation.

In his concluding remarks, Liu Liehong, Director of the National Data Administration and member of the National Development and Reform Party Group and Secretary of the Party Group, stated that this forum is a venue for exchanging knowledge regarding digital economic development and fostering greater practical cooperation. China will further advance the "Digital Silk Road" with a commitment to thorough consultation, collaborative efforts, and mutual gains. It will actively pursue innovative breakthroughs in enhancing the collaborative atmosphere, fostering dynamic development, executing tangible outcomes, investigating cooperative mechanisms, and advancing complementary advantages. Seek cooperation, distribute opportunities, and accomplish win-win development in concert with all parties.
