Recently, EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ Asia-Pacific 2024 Program successfully held its Greater China offline event in Shanghai. Women entrepreneurs from Greater China, including the 2024 new winners and some past recipients, discussed the future of global business.

EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ Program is committed to building a communication platform for outstanding female entrepreneurs from all walks of life to promote mutual inspiration and common growth. The invited women entrepreneurs enjoyed a yacht cruise along the Huangpu River, sharing experiences and insights in a relaxed atmosphere. Their unique wisdom added a special touch to the evening on the river.

On May 31, the group of women entrepreneurs gathered at Ernst & Young's Shanghai wavespace Innovation Center to focus on the international expansion of Chinese enterprises. Zhou Youmei, head of EY's Greater China Successful Women Entrepreneurs Program, stated, "EY aims to provide new perspectives and methods for women entrepreneurs in business development and international expansion by sharing practical experiences. We hope to help them confidently showcase the wisdom of Chinese entrepreneurs and the charm of Chinese women on the global stage."


EY Advisory Partner Zhou Liang and Tax Partner Zhang Cong presented "New Horizons for Chinese Enterprises: Entering the Middle East," highlighting the opportunities and challenges of the Middle Eastern market and offering new perspectives for the globalization strategies of women entrepreneurs. EY Cybersecurity and Privacy Partner Zhang Nanchi presented "Data Security Compliance and Trusted Digital Practices for Global Expansion," clearly explaining the essential role of data security and compliance in successful international ventures, providing valuable guidelines for the attendees.


Addressing data compliance in global expansion, Dong Ning, founder and CEO of Bamboocloud, and a 2024 EY Asia-Pacific Successful Women Entrepreneurs Program awardee, shared her valuable insights on "Digital Innovation Practices" with EY and the attendees.

EY China International and M&A Tax Partner Zhang Shunyuan discussed strategies and experiences for "Doing Business in Malaysia," offering valuable insights to inform the future business decisions of the attending entrepreneurs. After the event, the women entrepreneurs expressed that it was highly beneficial for their future business endeavors, boosting their confidence in navigating the complex international business landscape.
