Bamboocloud Technology and Shangang Technology Reach Strategic Cooperation to Build a New Digital Identity Security Foundation for the Port and Shipping Industry in the AI Era

2026-06-16

On June 15, Shenzhen Bamboocloud Technology Co., Ltd. ("Bamboocloud Technology") and Shandong Port Technology Group Co., Ltd. ("Shangang Technology") formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the Qingdao Shipping Financial Center. The two parties will focus on identity security challenges in the era of AI agents, jointly creating a new-generation digital identity management and access control system for the port and shipping industry, thereby building a solid security foundation for the digital and intelligent transformation of ports.

Yang Bin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shangang Technology, and Dong Ning, Chairman of Bamboocloud Technology, attended the signing ceremony and witnessed the agreement. Wei Huanling, General Manager of Bamboocloud Intelligent Technology, and Zhang Ziqing, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager of Shangang Technology, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective parties.

At the meeting, Yang Bin introduced Shangang Technology's more than 40 years of technical expertise and business layout in port and shipping information technology. He proposed that, building on the solid foundation of their previous cooperation, the two sides should jointly develop an AI agent port identity management and intelligent authentication foundation featuring "unified standards, unified interfaces, unified permissions, and unified security protection" based on "domestic operating systems + intelligent identity control + port industry scenarios," and actively promote innovative applications of AI identity security in port scenarios.

Dong Ning shared Bamboocloud Technology's extensive experience in the IAM (Identity and Access Management) field, with a focus on the company's deep thinking about IAM in the AI era. She pointed out that in the digital age of widespread AI application, "identity" has far surpassed the human realm. The security control of non-human digital identities – such as automated equipment, robots, vehicles, APIs, and AI agents – will become the cornerstone of security in the AI era. Organizations must establish, before AI agents begin to set their own rules, a governance system that includes robust IAM for non-human identities, strict auditing mechanisms, the principle of least privilege, and truly effective human oversight.

In the future, the two parties will integrate their technical advantages in port and shipping informatization and digital identity security, cooperating on core areas such as co-building a digital identity security system, innovating in AI agent identity security, and jointly expanding market ecosystems. They will jointly build a new-generation, "secure, compliant, intelligent and efficient" AI agent identity security control system, providing core security support for the digital and intelligent transformation of Shandong Port, and jointly creating a benchmark for AI identity security innovation in the port and shipping industry.
