BambooCloud Founder Dong Ning Delivers Keynote at 2024 Ditital-Tech World Industry Conference

On December 5, the "2024 Digital-Tech World Industry Conference and IDI Awards Ceremony" successfully took place in Shenzhen. Guided by the United Nations World Silk Road Forum and the International Data Association(IDA), the event was hosted by the GBA Digital-Tech Industry Alliance, with co-organizers including Qianhai Ark Asset Management and BambooCloud. Strategic partners included the CPC Jinjiang Municipal Committee’s State-owned Enterprise Working Committee, the Yangtze River Delta Research Base for Cyberspace Governance and Digital Economy Law, CAICT Southern Institute, HKTDC GBA Service Center, Shenzhen Federation of Social Organizations, HKUST Shenzhen-Hong Kong Collaborative Innovation Institute, Shenzhen AI Industry Association, Shenzhen Tech Entrepreneurship Promotion Association, and the International AI and Computing Standards Association.

The conference, themed "Digital Intelligence & AI Future," brought together over 300 distinguished guests, including government officials, digital tech entrepreneurs, business and academic leaders, renowned investors, publicly listed companies, and "Little Giants" specializing in niche fields. Representatives from industries such as smart manufacturing, digital energy, new materials, AI, smart cities, and information software joined to explore the integration of digital technology and AI. Discussions focused on seizing new opportunities in productivity transformation and shaping the future development landscape.

International Data Association(IDA) President and BambooCloud Vice President Lian Rongwei opened the conference, extending a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all leaders, experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs attending. Highlighting the transformative era of rapid advancements in digital technology and AI, Lian emphasized how next-generation AI is reshaping industries and empowering economic and social sectors by enhancing efficiency. This year's Digital-Tech Industry Conference aims to pool resources, gather insights, foster ecosystems, and drive growth. It serves as a platform to share opportunities and shape the future through the collaborative development of digital and real economies.

Keynote Speeches

During the keynote sessions, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as China's digital economy, the evolution of productivity, AI empowerment, and digital transformation practices.


Guo Renzhong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, and Director of the Smart City Research Institute at Shenzhen University, delivered a speech titled "Building a Social Ecosystem for Digital Economy Development."He highlighted how the information revolution is reshaping social structures and how the digital economy, as a natural outcome of informatization, is transforming traditional industries and fostering new business models, driving global innovation. Guo emphasized that the key to sustainable development in the digital economy lies in creating a social ecosystem that facilitates deep integration of technology, industry, and society, laying a solid foundation for future economic growth.

Wang Chunhui, President of the International Data Association (IDA) and Director of the UN World Silk Road Forum Digital Economy Research Institute, delivered a keynote on "The Fundamental Logic of Data Element Value Creation." He emphasized that the ultimate goal of digital transformation is not indiscriminate application but fostering high-quality industrial digitalization tailored to the needs of the real economy. This process aims to establish digital production relationships aligned with new productivity standards. Wang underscored the importance of adhering to the growth dynamics of the data element market, asserting that "usable data resources are the foundation and core of value creation." This fundamental principle, he explained, is essential for understanding the mechanisms of data resource utilization and unlocking the pathways to data-driven value creation.

Chen Wenzheng, President of Qianhai Ark and Executive Partner of the Qianhai Mother Fund, shared insights on "Reflections on Equity Investment Amid Current Trends." He highlighted the critical role of equity and venture capital investments as key channels for nurturing new productivity and advancing technological self-reliance. Chen called for a deep understanding of the central government's strategic approach to equity investment, urging stakeholders to stay attuned to the times, position themselves accurately, and embrace innovation. He emphasized the need to drive high-quality growth in equity investment and digital technology, contributing to the ambitious vision of "Digital Intelligence and AI Future."

Dong Ning, Founder of BambooCloud, delivered a keynote titled "Digital Transformation: Empowering AI Agents." She explained that digital transformation is the strategic integration of digital technologies across all areas of an enterprise, fundamentally reshaping operations and value delivery to customers. Its core objective is "delivering value to customers." And she highlighted that data integration and management software, along with Identity and Access Management (IAM) middleware, are critical for developing and utilizing vertical AI agents. By adopting robust IAM best practices, organizations can ensure the secure and efficient operation of AI agents, protect sensitive data, and maintain system integrity. This approach enables AI agents to perform their specialized functions effectively, driving sustainable innovation and growth.

Ke Huiling, General Manager of Jinjiang Culture and Tourism Group, shared insights on "Beautiful Jinjiang." She highlighted the "Jinjiang Experience," a development strategy proposed in 2002 by Xi Jinping, then Governor of Fujian, as a guiding framework for the high-quality growth of Fujian's private economy. Over two decades, this approach has proven its strength through history and practice, becoming a vital tool and blueprint for economic development. She emphasized Jinjiang’s ongoing efforts to transform traditional industries through technological innovation, resulting in remarkable achievements: one industry exceeding RMB 300 billion, another surpassing RMB 100 billion, 46 nationally recognized trademarks, 15 "national-level" regional brands, and over 70 overseas business offices established to date.
